An absolute must have for any serious artist I have many books on the subject of Anatomy, but none come close to this I highly recommend Update Okay then I have noticed something one page 220 that is bothering the heck out of me Maybe I am missing something, but i spent hours going over it and unless it s just flying over my head, I can t figure out what is going on On this page with Fig 232, the labeling for the muscles just seems way off t

I would give this 5 stars as it is everything I ve been looking for in an anatomy book.I knocked off a star because after page 392, it goes back to page 385, and repeats the eight pages all over again This wouldn t bother me, except after I get to page 392 for the second time, it skips to page 409 I m missing all the content of sections 8.13 and 8.14.

Having lost the first book in the international mailing system, and calling about it, I have to say that this was done so quickly, it was amazing how we received the second book in such a short timeI did give my son this book and he loves it, has referenced it several times with his drawingsthank you so much

The difference between this book and the Complete Guide to Life Drawing is that the Life Drawing book gives you enough anatomical reference to work from a model, while this new release has everything you will need to create figures from imagination Search Press has done another wonderful job with the binding and paper quality.

At the Art Students League of New York and The National Arts Club this book is considered to be the best.
